HASSELBACK CHICKEN

Ingredients: 4 Chicken Fillets breast fillets  Mozarella Cheese Sliced Cherry Tomatoes sliced in half Basil Leaves whole leaves 2 tsp Ground Basil Pepper to season 2 tsp Olive Oil Directions:  Preheat oven to 350F Place each chicken breast on a cutting board and make sliced cuts across each fillet. Make each cut about 3/4 through the fillet, do not cut all the way through. Maker about 6 - 8 cuts depending on size of the fillet. Within each cut on the chicken fillet, place a slice of mozarella, a basil leaf and cherry tomatoes Place the chicken fillets in a baking dish, and brush with olive oil and sprinkle with ground basil and pepper. Place baking dish in oven and cook for approx 25 minutes. Remove from oven and serve with salad or vegetables.

SLOW COOKED CHUCK ROAST

Ingredients: 3 pounds beef chuck roast, cut into 3 equal pieces 1 head garlic, cloves smashed and peeled 1 tablespoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon dried rosemary 4 cups low-sodium beef broth Coarse salt and ground pepper Directions: In a 5-to-6-quart slow cooker, combine beef, garlic, oregano, rosemary, and broth. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook on high until beef is tender and can be pulled apart with a fork, 6 to 7 hours. You can add anything else in there in terms of spices, and vegetables.

THANKSGIVING 2016

I enjoyed cooking and baking for Thanksgiving. I enjoy cooking a lot of food and feeding everyone. I always cook for 2 most of the time and you can't make that much food. This is just all the pictures of food and decoration. The recipes for everything is in the blog.

WEDDING DESSERT

I made these three desserts for my brothers engagement and wedding last year. Not professional but I got the idea from Pinterest so I wanted to try it!                    First one is an engagement ring, second is a wedding dress and third one is a suit.                                      Doing the black frosting was a pain but, it was worth it.

CREAMY MAC-AND-CHEESE

Ingredients 2 tbsp butter 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp white pepper 1/4 tsp paprika 1/4 tsp mustard powder Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper 2 c heavy cream, room temperature 8 oz Colby Jack cheese, shredded 4 oz sharp Cheddar, shredded 1 lb baby shell pasta Directions In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the garlic, white pepper, paprika, mustard powder. Add salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste. Cook for a few minutes to let the flavors bloom, and then slowly stir in the heavy cream.  Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, and cook until slightly thickened, about 8 minutes. Add the cheeses and stir until melted, then remove from heat. Stir in the pasta and toss until thoroughly combined. GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE

Ingredients Cake: 1 cup vegetable oil, plus more for greasing the pans 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled, plus more for dusting the pans 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon fine salt 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, roughly chopped 2 cups granulated sugar 3 large eggs, at room temperature 1 cup milk Filling: 1 1/2 cups pecans 1 cup milk 3 large egg yolks 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar 4 tablespoons unsalted butter 1/4 cup corn syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon fine salt 1 1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut Directions 1. Cheeseburger Egg Rolls

Ingredients Egg Rolls: 1 lb ground beef ½ medium yellow onion, minced 1 Tbsp vegetable oil for cooking Salt and fresh cracked black pepper 5 slices American cheese ½ cup diced pickles 13-14 egg roll wrappers 1 egg white Oil for frying Sauce: ¼ cup mayo 1 Tbsp tomato paste 1 garlic clove, pressed 1 tsp paprika Salt and fresh cracked black pepper Instructions 1. Preheat a medium cooking pan over medium heat. Add a tablespoon of oil and minced onion. Saute until onion is translucent. 2. Add ground beef to the pan and break it up as much as possible. Season with some salt and pepper, cover and cook until meat starts to brown. Stir well and make sure to keep breaking up all the meat clumps as it cooks. Drain off all the juices and place cooked meat into a mixing bowl. 3. Break up cheese and add it to the bowl. Mix until all the cheese is melted and evenly incorporated. 4. Stir in pickles. 5.
